Service Description
During what periods should the procedure be performed?
Temperature mapping of warehouses is mandatory in three cases:
when obtaining a pharmaceutical license;
in preparation for the installation of monitoring and microclimate systems;
when the seasons change – in summer and winter.
It is also recommended to carry out this process in such situations:
purchase of new climate control units, relocation or dismantling of old systems;
increasing the storage points of thermosensitive drugs;
rearrangement of racks, containers and other containers for storing medical supplies;
redevelopment of the warehouse (if additional partitions, walls were added).
What tasks does the thermal mapping procedure solve?
The thermal mapping procedure is carried out for the following purposes:
marking of points (location, height, etc.) for mounting loggers for temperature monitoring;
determination of the optimal number of recorders required for a qualitative analysis of temperature conditions in drug storage sites;
identification of unstable zones in which temperature fluctuations exceed the established norms;
finding points suitable for storing a particular type of medical products.
The algorithm of thermal mapping
Thermal mapping is a complex procedure that consists of several stages.
Departure of a specialist and assessment of the object: area, height of walls, zoning of storage areas, location of windows and doors, number of heaters and air conditioners, availability of exhaust system, etc.
Drawing up a plan for placing sensors in the room, coordinating the received data with the customer.
Installation of loggers according to an agreed plan. The process of installing a monitoring system is the longest. Depending on the characteristics of the room, it takes from 3 to 7 days.
Taking readings from recorders and drawing up a temperature chart.
Analysis of the data obtained and recommendations on changing storage areas, modernization of the warehouse.
Reporting and preparation of necessary documents.
