The installation of an air curtain has several purposes. The air flow is provided by the unit, which includes a fan, often a heating element and a control system.

Advantages of air curtains:

The installation of a thermal curtain prevents cold outside air from entering the room. An obstacle is also created for the internal heat of the building to escape outside. Thus, drafts can be avoided, and at the same time colds of employees who are forced to stay close to the doors. There is a significant saving on heating the building. A barrier is created for annoying crawling and flying insects. The penetration of dust swirling from the wind and gas exhaust from cars from the street is reduced. With the help of such curtains, it is possible to zone the building according to the temperature regime: to cut off zones with cool air temperature from warm zones.

The air curtain is also used to preserve cooled air in the hot season, while significantly reducing the energy consumption of the air conditioning system.
