The control and management of the outsourcing process is based on the implementation of the stages of the outsourcing project:

preparation and development of an outsourcing project;
conclusion of an outsourcing agreement (contract);
practical implementation of the agreement;
monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the outsourced processes.

When preparing an outsourcing project, the management of a pharmaceutical organization conducts:

analysis of the actual state of the pharmaceutical organization: goals, strategic priorities are determined, the quality system in the organization is analyzed;
analysis and evaluation of the processes of the main and supporting activities of the organization, if possible, outsourcing to them (based on the fact that not all processes of the organization's activities can be outsourced);
the choice of processes for outsourcing, which is carried out on the basis of comparing the cost of implementing the process in-house with the cost of purchasing outsourcing services, since the main reason for choosing outsourcing is to reduce the costs of a pharmaceutical organization.
